poem #1 of: pensive + reminiscent + loudly passionate vibe

I sit on my bed,

heavy chested and hollow.

I await for tomorrow, for today is already a waste.

I sleep,

And there I am in another unrealistic dream.

How I want it to be, how it must be.

I cannot fathom the next day, so I await death.

My inner voice tries desperately to convince the foolish segment of my mind and body that dares to persist.

BANG! BOOM!

A storm,

unexpected arrival time, yet distinct in its entry.

Its voice rumbles through the floor of industrial and inherited Earth.

I am shaken, I awaken shook.

My futile attempt is broken by the crackling declaration of destruction and doom.

Pounding and pounding with each murderous strike,

my heart pangs with fear in harmonic hype.

I’m scared, I’m fearful.

But why do I care of it?

Who is deciding that for me?

Oh for the love of anything, can it come out from hiding and explain this different, dominant opinion?

My mind might have been robust, but it has become nothing but a matter of thickening dust.

Remnants of the past looming and a plethora of thoughts brewing.

Disparities have diseased it.

That I wish could cease or be deleted.
